After spending much time brewing, tasting and comparing coffee from a bunch of great suppliers, we’d like to officially announce Dark Woods Coffee as our new brew. Not only are they a local Yorkshire troupe, but they’re firm advocates of using exclusively ethically sourced beans - developing strong relationships with their growers going back years.

The Sunday Roast Shake-Up – Springtime Dates Announcement

Sometimes, change can be a good thing. Even when it comes to the old tried and tested methods such as the Sunday roast. Imagine this, once upon a time people just used to eat potatoes and carrots all naked. We know right, how did they survive such boredom? That was until some crazy maverick came along and discovered the blissful joy of drenching steaming veg in the dark rich gooey goodness of gravy. Wait, there’s more. What about when we thought we’d got this whole Sunday savoury thing down and some culinary pioneer whipped up the first ever batch of crispy Yorkshire puds? The game was quite literally changed forever. “#YORKSHIRE”

Witch residency: 5 minutes with Lurka

Lurka emerged from the wake of Dubstep in the 2010s and has been steadily putting out impressive releases since. He has worked with esteemed Bristol imprints Timedance and Black Acre, as well as his own Fringe White label.

His sound is, like his contemporaries, a hard to pin down mix of Techno, Dubstep and everything in between. Ahead of his appearance at Witch, we sat down with Lurka to chat about his musical background, influences and what we can expect from him in the future.
