The Old Red Bus Station turns 3

Three years of blood, sweat, tears (lots), turmoil, music, art, food, drinks, laughter, despair & misery and we're still here, providing you with a safe & cheap space to enjoy a drink and a dance and relishing (yes) our position as Leeds first all vegan canteen.

To celebrate this milestone we're pleased to be showcasing a variety events over the coming week, kicking things off by welcoming one of the names riding right at the forefront of electronic music, Djrum, to the venue on the 15th February.

Third Birthday Cover 1

Three years of blood, sweat, tears (lots), turmoil, music, art, food, drinks, laughter, despair & misery and we're still here, providing you with a safe & cheap space to enjoy a drink and a dance and relishing (yes) our position as Leeds first all vegan canteen.

To celebrate this milestone we're pleased to be showcasing a variety events over the coming week, kicking things off by welcoming one of the names riding right at the forefront of electronic music, Djrum, to the venue on the 15th February.

A true turntablist & purveyor of only the highest quality musical cuts, his style dances from Ambient to Jazz to Dubstep to Techno and through to Jungle with ease, a feat that has left him highly regarded as one the finest in his field, and the perfect headliner to help celebrate our birthday blowout.

Not content with just showcasing the venue, the bar also plays host to an already roadblock affair with License To Jungle welcoming MetalheadzSB81 aka Nolige & Artilect who join their residents for another thumping session of top quality jungle.

Saturday 16th February sees our in-house garage reprobates Backyard welcome Slime Recordings signee Deadly Habitz for another free UKG treat alongside their residents, whilst on Wednesday 20th we're teaming up with our friends at Leeds Metropolitan's CUE Dj Society for another chance for you to take the decks at our open decks.

The 22nd February sees the night who've been with us since the very start, Vision State, join us as they too celebrate their third birthday with DnB upstarts Koherent and one of the finest emerging acts in recent years Data 3 bringing the pounding sounds of tech-dnb the bar.

The cheeky fellas from Hot Sauce finish things off for us in style with a soundtrack of funk, soul & banging disco edits for their monthly cheeky free soiree on Saturday the 23rd.

So, all in all not too bad, three years doesn't seem quite so terrible after all.
