We're pleased to be partnering with Oxjam to bring you some superb live music as part of this years Oxjam Leeds Festival!

Spread across 5 of Leeds' best music venues including Santiago Bar, Domino Club and Slocken we're extremely pleased to be a part of this superb event for the third year running.

This year we've got two stages set up providing live music from some of the biggest and best upcoming bands and artists from across the North.

The Bright Black

Headlining Stage 1 is four-piece Indie Soul outfit The Bright Black, a Manchster based band with a truly unique sound and plenty in the pipeline for the remainder of the year!

Joining them are Jump the Shark, an alt-rock four-piece from Wolverhampton whose sound combines psychadelia and bittersweet pop melodies as well as some homegrown Yorkshire talent from the likes of Globes, Young Cub and Mairaj & The Family, expect a whole mixture of genres including alt-pop, Reggae, Latin, Jazz and Soul.

Stage 2 is all about the electronic vibes, with artists including JackCity a rapper, DJ and producer from Leeds, alongside NEWZOO a hip-hop duo from Bradford and RMDY a producer, songwriter and rapper from Manchester.

We also have music from Lence a Hip Hop and Grime artist from Leeds expressing his thoughts on society and life through rhymes. Species are performing too, a new three-piece band, bringing a new sound described as Jazz-Hop.

Oxjam Festival is the UK's largest grassroots music festival and all the money raised goes to Oxfam to help eradicate poverty acround the world.

A few words from this years Oxjam Leeds Co-Ordinator - Joe Allen.

"Oxjam is really quite a special festival, it's completely volunteer run which is something special in itself. Being able to work with a really amazing team of volunteers, all with different areas of expertise and all with a massive passion for making Oxjam Leeds an amazing festival, being overwhelmed by the amount of artists and bands willing to help us out, and working alongside our lovely partner venues who kindly let us host the festival, it really is just an awesome experience. Oxjam Leeds is really a community grassroots festival at heart, featuring some of the best local up-and-coming bands performing in some of our favourite local venues and being supported by local businesses to make it all happen."

"Oxjam is the festival that beats poverty, with all our profit going straight to the awesome work of Oxfam. Just as an example £100 raised is enough to fund both the training of teacher to help improve a child's education as well as the purchase of 10 mosquito nets. We're really looking forward to Oxjam Leeds Festival this year and promoting the incredible Leeds music scene, as well as raising money to help beat poverty!"

Get yourself down to hear an eclectic mix or artists across both stages. Early bird tickets are on sale now for £7 which you can find here.
